Proposed major edits

edit

As a proposed ARIA Hall of Fame act the article should be at least B-class or better: consequently I will be making major edits to this article and intend to include reliable sources and provide a neutral tone. Interim edits may look disorganised or incomplete and may take about over a week or more.Dan arndt (talk) 07:49, 5 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Good effort Dan. I've carried the torch a little further along: I think its B-class now (I might be biased).shaidar cuebiyar ( talk | contribs ) 09:07, 17 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Where does "Paul" come from?

edit

Given that JPY's birth name is John Inglis Young, the article needs to clarify where the "Paul" came from to distinguish him from Johnny Young. WWGB (talk) 01:27, 13 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, this still needs to be clarified. 115.166.40.89 (talk) 03:11, 25 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
Done, "Paul" was his Catholic confirmation name.[1] WWGB (talk) 01:23, 25 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

“Origin”?

edit

Not sure what the “Origin” in the box-out means - he’s clearly born and grew up until age 11 in Scotland, but has been in Australia the majority of his life - so Scottish-born Australian might seem to be a fair and good description - but “Origin: Sydney” doesn’t convey anything to me - what does it mean? Per infobox template documentation, "The town, city etc., from which the singer or group originated (that is, the place where the group was founded; or where individual performers started their career, should it not match the location of their birth). So Sydney it is." WWGB (talk) 01:41, 17 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
