Inaccurate, unsourced statement.
edit"dubbed a radical in the media" No citation, and false statement. He was overtly left-leaning, not "radical", and liked to cycle, rather than be driven around in a limo. "Radical" implies "angry" and "extreme", and he was an upbeat mayor. This whole article is not NPOV, and has many unsourced statements. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.147.119.6 (talk) 17:48, 15 September 2015 (UTC)

John Sewell
editHave just heard John Sewell’s excellent discussion of police problems on the Sunday Edition. It’s marvellous to hear such an informed discussion of this extremely important issue.
I was a psychiatrist/psychotherapist for 50 years and witnessed the harm done to people by routinely giving them toxic drugs instead of humane understanding. I think that this may be the primary cause of the unrecognized pandemic of mental illnesses and addictions that we see today. I haven’t been able to find people in Canada to publicize this and am now turning to American publications, but would value Canadian support. A huge problem for police is our terrible mental health system 😱 I’d be happy to send you a report I gave to the Canadian Psychiatric Association describing the research on this. Of course they wouldn’t listen! Huge profits are made drugging people forever.
