Lt. Col. John Wentworth's portrait could be better
editPicture at Wentworth Genealogy: English and American, after p.178 at Google Books. This is a better copy than is now in place within this article, but I can't seem to figure out how to capture the picture to upload it to Wikipedia. Can you please help? RWIR (talk) 06:54, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
Suggested improvement
editDon't want to step on any toes, but perhaps the first paragraph after "biography" can be shortened to make only a single reference to William Wentworth, the grandfather, who now has his own page (didn't at the time this article was first constructed). Then that single shortened sentence and the other discussion of the Lieutenant-Governor's family can be combined into perhaps two paragraphs under one heading.
This would involve deleting much of the discussion of William Wentworth as it should be on the page entitled William Wentworth (elder).—Preceding unsigned comment added by RWIR (talk • contribs) 05:49, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

John Wentworth (Lieutenant-Governor) → John Wentworth (lieutenant governor, born 1671) – Lowercase for job title, dropping hyphen, and distinguishing from Sir John Wentworth, 1st Baronet (who was also a lieutenant governor and a New Hampshire politician) —BarrelProof (talk) 00:48, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
