Article seems in a good enough state all around. The hook checks out and is certainly good enough; I might mentioned that he was reelected to the house afterwards though! Left some comments on the talk on how this article might be improved or expanded. Generalissima (talk) (it/she) 15:54, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

ALT1: ... that after being expelled from the Arkansas House of Representatives for killing another representative in a knife fight on 5 December 1838, John Wilson was re-admitted in 1840? (And it is 5 December per the cited source.)--Launchballer 14:16, 30 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Some sources which might be able to replace primary sourcing

Since secondary analysis is generally preferable in cases like this, although primary sources are still useful for reference in a further reading etc.

The last of these appears to have the most context out of all of them. I hope this can help you out in your work here! Generalissima (talk) (it/she) 15:51, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! I will put these on my to-do list, and will get around to adding them shortly. I had a hard time gathering sources for Wilson, and this really helps. Again, thank you! QuicoleJR (talk) 22:15, 9 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
