"Lease cropping"?
editThe beginning of the "Early life" section describes Jones's parents as "lease cropping farmers". A quick search of Wikipedia and Google for the phrase "lease cropping" turns up nothing, except for several references to sharecropping.
Is lease cropping the same as sharecropping? If so, this section should be changed to the more familiar term. If not, a brief definition of lease cropping should be added. Even a sentence fragment in parentheses would do.

- After doing some research, I believe that 'lease cropping' would come under the heading of "Tenant farming" There is an article with that name and there are two sections that are important: United States and Black Belt Conditions. Or just Black Belt Conditions. I tried to link to it but I have a savage migraine today and it won't allow me to think in wikilink terms. Best of luck to you bobdog54 (talk) 19:07, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
