Please keep in mind that disambiguation pages are not regular articles, and they have their own guidelines. Per the style guide for disambiguation pages, red links should be placed on dab pages under two circumstances: 1) When the dabbed item is linked on the page referred to in the entry. For example, Jojo is mentioned, but not linked, in the article Get Back, so it can be listed, but not linked, on the dab page. 2) When the editor is confident that an article about the dabbed item will be written. In this case, of the four items in question, two (the single & the novel) might have articles created for them, but I am far from confident that it will happen any time soon; the Potato wedges already have an article; and the Beatles character will never have an article, so why link it?

On the subject of piping, the dabbed term should be piped for the purposes of formatting--e.g. to italicize a book title, or put quotes around a song title--but never to hide the actual, full title of the article being linked. --ShelfSkewed Talk 04:58, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
