Non-production album contributions
editConsidering the extensive list of other artists' albums Jon Brion has played or sung on, it seems that listing these contributions would only serve to make this entry waaay too long and, more than likely, perpetually incomplete -- in a couple of instances, someone editing a particular band/artist entry has added Brion's credits on just that band's/artist's albums. I also can't think of any other instances in which an artist's every guest appearance has shown up on the Wikipedia entry, and IMHO the discography link (and individual album pages, if they exist) is more than enough to cover this area. - Hedgey42 18:34, 22 October 2005 (UTC)
Jon Brion Show
editThough I've only seen the pilot and cannot be of much aid, I think there should be a bit on his potential show.
So why does the eels thing pop up at the bottom? from what I can tell he seems to have produced...one song by the guy...or album I forgot already...Either way hes far more known for his soundtracks,Kanye, and Of Montreal...Not that there things should be there either... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.150.16.248 (talk) 00:02, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
No work of Brion on "From a Basement on a Hill" by Elliott Smith
editAccording to Benjamin Nugents Biography about Smith Brion did an album with Elliott Smith, which was not finished at all and entirely destroyed by Smith after their friendship broke, it was never called From a Basement on a Hill, it was an album for its own. So i'd suggest to delete the entry of Smith in the Brion Album list and replace it with a real Brion-album. Fondfarewell (talk) 17:58, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Jon Brion's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
