editSomeone should verify it, but think they've now dropped the 'Jon Spencer' element of their name and are known as simply Blues Explosion on their new album
Also, just tried the link and it no longer works!
- Yes, it's official, they are now known simply as the Blues Explosion [1]. And the link works fine. - Slicing 16:59, 12 August 2005 (UTC)

editHave the band gone back to including 'Jon Spencer' in their title? http://www.play4me.com.au/product/jukebox_explosion_1593143_74181.html that link for thier new singles collection seems to imply so... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.10.164.229 (talk) 03:49, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
- That release appears to be a compilation of previously released material made when they used that name. So it is also possible that they released it under the name of the original releases. Without further information, it is hard to say which it is. --James (talk) 05:04, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
Jon Spencer
editJon Spencer should have his own page... He has on fr and es... Xic667 (talk) 18:02, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
Was?
editThe page says that the Blues Explosion "was" a rock band, but there is no indication that the band has broken up, or when it did so. Is it official? When did it become official? The page essentially ends with "Freedom Tower - No Wave Dance Party 2015" and then there is no further information at all. 31.209.55.154 (talk) 22:23, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
