Not a "rabbi"
editJonathan Cahn is a Messianic Jewish pastor who has NO seminary training as a rabbi, and nobody should be billing himself as being a rabbi when he doesn't have the training. He has some college, but he never attended seminary. I changed the article to correct the mischaracterization of Jonathan Cahn. He typically doesn't bill himself as a rabbi; it is usually others (notably Jim Bakker) who call him that.
Why does this article not have a section "Criticisms"?
editThis article needs a section on criticisms of Cahn. There are plenty published already that could be cited without risk of libel. 47.176.191.146 (talk) 21:52, 6 October 2022 (UTC)

- Dear Rabbi Cahn, I have no Jewish blood that I know of but was born and educated in the Seventh-Day Adventist movement. As I really read and studied the Bible due to a personal crisis, I questioned the comments of Ellen White concerning the last week of Christ’s life. She wrote that two days were missing during the final week, and Adventist scholars question why Wednesday and Thursday are silent. I learned that if a person fully understood Jewish thought and actions, they would understand Jesus predicting his burial and death covering three days and three nights. (I have since learned God usually speaks literally, not spiritualizing events unless such is also intended.) The Gospel narrative is clear Jesus entered Jerusalem on Sunday, the first day of Passover week and stole the audience from the “inspection” of the barley on Olivet, thus determining the week was Passover. Jesus cursed the fig tree on Monday morning and on Tuesday the disciples pointed out the fig’s sudden death. Then the final supper was eaten on Tuesday night. Now comes the part Gentiles miss; the betrayal in Gethsemane occurred after the last meal (Tuesday night) and the illegal night trial followed. The crucifixion occurred the next morning (Wednesday) and the women could not embalm Jesus for lack of time because the Sabbath was fast approaching. It was not the weekly Sabbath, but the Passover Sabbath. This can only be understood by Jews (Gentiles do not understand Jewish life) because the Jewish leaders WOULD NEVER ENTER THE COURT OF PILOT on a Sabbath to ask for a guard to be placed at the tomb. So, the Passover Sabbath passed and it is now Friday (Preparation Day) and the women were free to buy spices and prepare them that day. The Jewish leaders were free to enter Pilot’s offices and request a armed guard placed at the tomb. Then the weekly Sabbath entered and the women were not able to embalm Jesus’ body, so everybody sat out the weekly Sabbath. Then, the “early morning” resurrection occurred, not at sunrise as the Catholics teach, but during the last ceremony of Passover Week, the gathering of the barley and bringing it to the Most Holy to wave before the Lord. This occurred during what we call “Saturday night” but it actually according to old times, it was “Sunday beginning”. (“The evening and morning were the first day”) when I saw that Jesus was in the tomb on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights, and in the tomb Thursday, Friday and Sabbath days, that realization showed me Ellen White was not a prophet. If she really was inspired she would have not questioned what happened on Wednesday and Thursday since those “are silent days” in the Gospel according to traditional Christianity. Most of Christianity follows Catholic liturgy and has Christ dead Friday night and part of “Saturday” night. The Lord is then in the grave Saturday. How they get three days is by counting 3 hours on Friday and “6” hours on Sunday. But however you count that, it doesn’t come out to 3 days and 3 nights. I am no longer an Adventist based on a few other “stretches” of the scriptures by Ellen White. God bless your ministry. 189.252.101.197 (talk) 03:21, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
The Return of the Gods
editThe Gods have arrived in full force in Washington, DC. Not one person there is rational or thinking clearly! Each Congressperson, has his or her own agenda! None agrees with another! I thought Nancy Pelosi had the apprarance of one demonically possessed! She has departed DC, but remaining in her stead is a plethora of evil Entities that are possessed and incapable of making a rational decision about anything or anybody! All appear to be considering Me, Myself and I! Not one appears to have the Good Of the American people at heart! Money is of no rational importance ! The attitude is there is plenty more where that came from! The well will never run dry! I’l grab for me and mine to to hell all the rest!
It’s the most obscene event I have ever watched play out on National television, or contemplated ever becoming a reality! How sad ! It must be making
our Trune God so very sad!
Do I dare pray. “ Father , forgive them. They know not what they do?” The Gods know exactly what they are doing! The next thing we know they will be calling home for their babies to be sacrificed to get the next thing they want to satisfy an insatiable appetite!! I am sickened
by the horrors! 2600:1700:6420:51F0:A817:DBF7:B353:57B5 (talk) 07:15, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
Date of birth
editAre there any good sources for Cahn's date of birth? Various language Wikipedia articles disagree, and there aren't any citations on this page. Daask (talk) 00:09, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
