to help make ends meet

edit

Should slang language like this really be used in the article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.47.95.161 (talk) 20:06, 15 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Not ideal, but not horrible, esp'ly if it's his wording. Did you search with his name and the phrase each in its own set of quotes?

Damaged?

edit

This looks damaged. "Most" has been changed to "Least" but when I go to fix, I do not see it. :(

Anyone have any ideas? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cnystrom (talkcontribs) 02:37, 18 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Never mind. Fixed now.

Distinctive European accent?

edit

I don't think his accent is necessarily (let alone distinctively) European.--76.30.28.124 (talk) 04:09, 28 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

It's not supposed to be distinctly anything other than not American and vaguely European.

No, it's supposed to be Latin American. Lets not be naive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.98.32.68 (talk) 03:17, 16 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Its supposed to be Israeli, since he IS Jewish. 107.222.205.242 (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 04:13, 21 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

ca 1940's ??

edit

That would be acceptable if he were some character from centuries before, not a man probably from the baby boomer generation. It was not that long ago.

Name?

edit

Below his picture on the right, his name is spelled with two H's, the less common "Johnathan".. I am guessing that this is an error when the rest of the article uses one H in his first name..?

Category: American Jews

edit

Goldsmith is American. He is also Jewish as the article mentions and cites. Does anyone have a problem with me adding him to the American Jews category? If no one says anything I will add him after a few days. Anibar E (talk) 14:25, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Why would it be controversial for someone plays a character who is "most interesting man in the world" and speaks with an Spanish accent to be Jewish? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.98.32.68 (talk) 03:21, 16 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Role on Star Trek

edit

I thought you might be interested; Jonathan Goldsmith played an unnamed crewman in the episode, "The Corbomite Maneuver" on the original Star Trek. Although he played a "red-shirt" crewman he survived in the episode. (Unnamed red shirts were known for getting killed off on the show) There is a picture of him in the role in George Takei's facebook page. Equusma (talk) 18:44, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Internet meme. Not notable. Not a "guest appearance." He wasn't even credited. JayHubie (talk) 06:58, 20 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
Mr. Goldsmith denies ever being on Star Trek. And there's no factual evidence to support the claim. In fact, it's been thoroughly debunked (link). MrNeutronSF (talk) 03:58, 16 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

new charity work

Goldsmith is named as being a spokesman for Clear Path International Conflict Survivor Assistance, particularly the clearing of land mines. http://cpi.org/?s=goldsmith http://www.wtop.com/546/3340773/Stay-Safe-My-Friends 71.163.114.49 (talk) 14:32, 30 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
