Who is the the 12th president of Stanford?

edit

Seems like a simple question, but I am unable to find any official published records that Richard Saller is officially called by Stanford University or its Board of Trustees as the 12th president, but only mentioned as the interim president.[1][2]. Did the Board of Trustees officially upgraded his position? If so, when? If Saller is not the 12th president, does that make Jonathan Levin the 12th president? If all acting or interim presidents are included in the official count, will that make Levin the 15th president since 14 other persons had previously occupied the office either on an interim or non-interim basis. We need citations from reliable sources. 96.69.249.93 (talk) 00:43, 11 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
