I'll review this. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 16:56, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Images are appropriately tagged.

Prose is OK; I made a few minor copyedits. I wouldn't fail GA for this, but there seems to be too much detail in the Colts section, particularly the 2021 season. Imagine this level of detail for a player with 20 active seasons; it would be an unreadable mass of statistics. Up to you, but I would recommend some trimming. I'll get to these over the next few days, thanks for the feedback! NSNW (talk) 18:16, 4 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
I've struck a couple of the sources above that you replaced, but there are a couple of them left. Can you say why you think those are reliable? Or are you planning to replace them? Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 14:17, 9 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
I trimmed down the paragraphs in the 2021 section a bit. NSNW (talk) 23:02, 19 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Spotchecks:

  • FN 40 cites "Taylor put up 205 rushing yards and a touchdown in the game, helping the Badgers to a 35–3 win and earning game MVP honors." Verified.
  • FN 4 cites "In his senior year, he averaged 234.6 yards a game while scoring 37 touchdowns (35 rushing)". The source has "Taylor’s senior year was a season for the ages. He rushed for for a South Jersey record 2,815 yards, averaging 234.6 yards a game, while scoring 37 touchdowns (35 rushing)." I know these formulaic sentences are difficult to rephrase, but this is too close to the original.
  • FN 54 cites "On January 3, 2020, Taylor announced that he would forgo his senior season and enter the 2020 NFL Draft." Source: "The record-setting junior announced Friday on Twitter and Instagram that he will forgo his senior season with the Badgers and enter the draft." This is too close to the source phrasing.
  • FN 65 cites "Taylor was selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft with the 41st pick by the Indianapolis Colts, who had acquired the pick from the Cleveland Browns in a trade": Verified.
  • FN 79 cites "Taylor was named the starting running back for the Colts to start the 2021 season." Verified.
  • FN 14 cites "During this time, Taylor enjoyed yoga and declared as a philosophy major": verified.
  • FN 25 cites "The NCAA does not include bowl-game stats for the period Dayne played, so Taylor is the official record holder for freshman rushing yards.": I see Taylor is listed as the record holder, but the first half of this sentence appears to be unsupported.
    • Fixed
  • FN 19 cites "On November 17, he was named a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award given to the top running back in the country": verified.
  • FN 89 cites "Taylor was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance": verified.

I've just run Earwig and it has found one more phrase copied from the source:

NSNW, just checking to make sure you're still planning on working on this. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 18:41, 16 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Mike Christie I'm doing my best. I had a ton of schoolwork to do for this week, and ir should be done by tomarrow. NSNW (talk) 19:03, 16 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
No problem; if you need more time let me know. I'll check in next week if I haven't heard from you. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 19:05, 16 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

NSNW, there's one source left that I've questioned (draftscout.com), and one more rephrase to do (spotcheck for FN 4). I think you could trim some more details from the season paragraphs but that's not a requirement for GA, just a comment. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 11:09, 20 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Tweaked the table a bit and removed the source. I think I've addressed everything. NSNW (talk) 00:44, 21 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Fixes look good; I made one more tweak. Passing. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 01:49, 21 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
