Jorm's Birthday
editIt was revealed on the first TLI podcast that his birthday is March 19th (1977?). It's not hugely important to me, but a lot of people have been wondering, so it should probably be added to his page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.140.27.179 (talk • contribs) 19:30, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
Jorma is a Finnish name
editThe 'R' is not silent. It's pronounced Yorr-mah. But the guy is free to pronounce his name like he wants. See Jorma Kaukonen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lalli (talk • contribs) 12:47, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Origins of his name - Finnish?
editLooks reeeeally funny that his name is Jorma and it's pronounced exactly like in Finnish (yormah). :DD Is there any information available as for why his parents chose this name for their son? -- Frous (talk) 05:15, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
Seeing that the guy was born in the Bay Area in 1970s, I'm willing to bet that his parents were Jefferson Airplane fans and named him after Jorma Kaukonen. Just my conjecture though so don't put this on the page.Deadhead78 (talk) 16:23, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- Silent R?
- It's a Finnish name of course, and a connection to the Airplane seems like a reasonable explanation for it.
- But why the r-less pronunciation? Is that a typo?
