Outdated data about death date
editBefore User:Gh provided a source with the actual death date, I had searched for it to no avail, and had put the results in the article. Now that the date is sourced, I move that old stuff here, just in case:
--
The possible death and its date are not established:
- According to "Olympic Review - March 1989/No. 257" about a ceremony between King Juan Carlos of Spain and various medallist, "The oldest medallist to receive his pin was Jose Alvarez de Bohorquez, Marques de los Trujillos, 94 years old and gold medallist in horse-riding at the Games in Amsterdam in 1928" — thus confirming a birth date around 1895 and meaning that he was still alive around 1989."External link to document" (PDF). (0.9 MB)
- According to genealogy site GeneAll.net, a "José Alvarez de las Asturias-Bohórquez y Goyeneche, 10. marqués de los Trujillos" died on 2 June 1944 in Madrid (no birth date given) and is only credited with a son born in 1934, "José Alvarez de las Asturias-Bohorques y Pérez de Guzmán, 11. marqués de los Trujillos" (External link to HTML page) — their informations are sourced to "TNA - Titulos Nobiliarios Andaluces, Jorge Valverde Fraikin, Editorial Andalucia, Granada, 1991"
- A genealogical page for a related family confirms "José María Alvarez de las Asturias Bohorques y Goyeneche, 10º marqués de los Trujillos. Casó con María Victoria Pérez de Guzmán y Moreno." but without dates (External link to HTML page)

It could be useful, if only to know in advance that this GeneAll.net data isn't very reliable ;-) — Komusou talk @ 16:58, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
