Mention should be made in the article of the Houston Astros' hometown fans and their habit of elongating Cruz' name as a cheer, leading those not in the know to think his team's fans were booing him. Misterdoe21:31, 6 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
I second this thought; it's a part of his legacy. The stadium announcer would do this, and sometimes "Cruuuuuuuz" (with varying numbers of "U's") would appear on the scoreboard.
