Dubious Information

edit

Caps and goal figures in the article likely contain European cup/Domestic cup data in addition to Domestic League data (this is very certain based on this user's previous edits containing similar information [1]. Please correct this issue and leave a note here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Alfmaster#Footballers.27_European_goals, to warn this person about putting improper information on Wikipedia. --Palffy 04:07, 27 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Re-write

edit

This article needs to be re-written completely. The English is shocking. The expressions are poor, the grammar is awful and the tenses conflict with one another. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.137.205.244 (talk) 20:12, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

José Roberto da Silva JúniorZé Roberto — Zé Roberto is his common name, and the article should be so named to make the article easier to sort and find in categories (see Talk:Branco (footballer)#Requested move). The page Zé Roberto already redirects here, so it's already acknowledged that he is the most notable person of this name. ArtVandelay13 (talk) 10:20, 23 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Discussion

edit
I'm perfectly happy with this being at Zé Roberto, but this name is also the most commonly used name of the players at Rochester Rhinos and Schalke: they should probably be renamed as Zé Roberto (footballer born 1978) and Zé Roberto (footballer born 1980) respectively. Kevin McE (talk) 11:13, 23 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Given that Zé is short for José, they could even be named Zé Roberto Gomes Santana and Zé Roberto de Oliveira, which is a more personalised disambiguation. ArtVandelay13 (talk) 11:15, 23 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Was there anything about possibly signing with the Los Angeles Galaxy after his contract expires with Bayern? – Michael (talk) 18:45, 4 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

On Loan

edit

Ze Roberto didn't re-sign to Bayern Munich on Loan, he was transferred to Bayern Munich for 2007-2009 seasons.

"Brazilian international Ze Roberto did not sign for SV Hamburg on a free transfer as initially reported, a German news magazine has said. Der Spiegel said that SV Hamburg paid four million euros (5.7 million dollars) to Uruguayan club Nacional Montevideo for the midfielder who joined from Bayern Munich at the start of the season. Hamburg official Bernd Hoffmann confirmed that the transfer had taken place as described by the news magazine, but did not disclose the amount. Bayern Munich is said to also have paid a transfer fee in 2007 when Ze Roberto joined the club from Brazilian team Santos. At the time it was said that the Brazilian came on a free transfer. Spiegel said that Bayern paid one million euros for a two-year loan period to the Uruguayan club, an amount which Bayern official Uli Hoeness confirmed."

That's third parties ownership, the amount is not a transfer fees (As paid to his agent). He was released by Santos in 2007 and Bayern in 2009 but a few one know the secret between his agent, except some reliable source could prove it. Matthew_hk tc 11:42, 31 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
