editWhat about saying that Manuel Aznar, with whom Pla entered Barcelona with the francoist troops and took control of the newspaper "La Vanguardia" (I think that, about that time, it was "La Vanguardia Española"), was grandfather of the former Spanish Prime Minister José María Aznar? Maybe it's not a crucial information, but it's a curiosity which may interest some readers
needs editing
editThis interesting and useful article is in need of citations, and of editing for English prose style. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.210.1.191 (talk) 10:30, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
==edits == Have done a bit of editing for style on bio section. Needs more. TuttiFruttiCherryPie (talk) 15:37, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
Did a few more edits to Notability section, mainly for style and adjusted translations from Spanish article, but some cuts - The paragraph describing his writing style, for instance, had a randomly inserted section about how Pla hated the Catalan floral games, but with no reference or quote. I have deleted this.
In general this article seems to be a partial translation from the fuller article on Pla in the Spanish Wikipedia. In my opinion it would be better to translate the article in full from the Spanish one, which looks quite authoritative. TuttiFruttiCherryPie (talk) 18:13, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

Need to update on Pla and on Adi Enberg
editIt is clear that most of what is said on this page about Josep Pla and Adi Enberg needs to be updated: now that many of us have been able to read the numerous news it brings about them and their times the book by Xavier Pla, "Un cor furtiu" (Pla, Xavier. A furtive heart: Life of Josep Pla. ed. Destino). It is also necessary to start pages about Adi and about her father, Halfdan Enberg (Bergen, 1883 – Barcelona, 1946), Consul General of Denmark in Barcelona since 1907, consignee to the port, shipowner and exporter; key person in the lives of Adi and Josep Pla; person of remarkable historical interest. It would be the first page about Halfdan Enberg in all of Wikipedia. Unfortunately, I shall not be able to work on these ideas in the next months. My apologies. Mporta (talk) 15:34, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
