The article states that Joseph L. Bruno was the acting lt. governor of New York. As the senate majority leader and temporary president of the state senate he was the (according to the state constitution of New York) the acting lt. governor of New York WHEN THERE WAS A VACANCY in the office of lt. governor. As far as I can find out there hasn't been a vacancy in that office during Bruno's term as temp. pres. of the senate. The wikipedia article on Joe Bruno doesnt mention him ever being the acting lt. governor. I'm removing this reference since I dont believe it to be true and there's no proof it is.
