I looked at the ancestry for James Kent and have not been able to find any Platt ancestors, going back to before Joseph Platt was born. So unless I'm missing something, this piece is not correct. If it is correct, it needs documentation. Rgurganus (talk) 23:05, 10 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Support per nom. It seems that the college president is sometimes referred to as "Joseph B. Platt", with the middle initial; however, there appears to be a film set designer who also had the name "Joseph B. Platt", so if we just added the initial we'd risk running into later ambiguity.
