The mentioned "scientific" Zach is not the person the link is leading to!
Anton Freiherr von Zach was Generalmajor at Marengo and the link points to his brother Franz Xaver Freiherr von Zach, who was an astronomer.
Can somebody correct this?

You've made a very nice start, and I'm glad that there's a picture, and a great number of references and such. But the actual core section of the article, detailing his life and such, is still fairly short. LordAmeth22:40, 12 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

One source LIBRI Encyclopedia say, that he was Czech nobleman and Austrian marshal. Other source Britannicasay, that he was Austrian field marshal. Both is right, because he was Czech speaking noble, serving in the Austrian army and there is not contradition.--Yopie (talk) 20:53, 6 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
