Mr. Schülein was a very notable person in Germany because he was the CEO of a major German brewery in Munich, the Löwenbräu brewery. He also did lots of philanthropic work. He was definitely a notable person in Germany. His son was manager of the Liebmann brewery in NY. I will translate the rest of the German wikipedia article very soon.
