@Greghenderson2006: I am setting aside the below from the article. "Joseph Post and his wife hosted visitors to the Big Sur coast informally for years, but in 1910 she began charging guests. It was one of the first Big Sur resorts. From 1889 to 1905, the homestead functioned as the inaugural Big Sur School. In 1922, a contemporary paved highway was constructed through the property, leading to the removal of a barn and fencing. The family resided in the Post house until the advent of World War II. Despite later alterations to the roadway and the entrance access to the Ventana Inn, the historical features have remained unchanged. By 1955, the Post House transitioned into a rental, while family members occupied other structures on the extensive property. In 1972, the Ventana Corporation acquired the property, and under subsequent corporate ownership, a decision was made to safeguard and preserve the site as a Big Sur landmark by enlisting it with the National Register of Historic Places. A sign marking the entrance to the Inn was placed near the Post Homestead, adjacent to Highway 1" I know at least the first sentence is based on PLASKETT.FAMILY or Post family website. I've removed in the previous version of this article, but I see you re-submitted. This needs to be thoroughly gone through and remove any contents not DIRECTLY supported in reliable sources. It was just a week or two ago you were called out on retaining contents written based on bloggy source after removing the bloggy source and making it appear like the contents are directly supported in the reliable source that is still left in article even when it isn't. @Graywalls: The article was deleted so I did not have access to the history. The only copy I had was one I kept when I created the document. I forgot to run the Cooyvio Detector script before submitting. I'll need to add this to my checklist of things to checkoff before submitting. In terms of the above text, I have created the correct citations below. Please update accordingly. Thanks!

It still appears you're writing it backward where you write what you want featured based on blogs, then go hunting for the sources to fit around what you want featured rather than write around sources. Either Melcous or Netherzone also voiced concerns about this way of contents creation that tends to maintain the position taken by COISOURCES. Graywalls (talk) 19:59, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
