If you download Sawyer's Fallout: New Vegas mod, the readme logs all the changes that Sawyer made to the game, so there's the citation that is needed. But how does one cite that source? --75.166.129.152 (talk) 04:57, 19 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: Move. It appears we've established consensus that "Josh Sawyer" is the most common variant, "J.E. Sawyer" is also in use, and that "Joshua Sawyer" is the least common of the three. If it turns out that "J. E. Sawyer" should preferred, a new RM can be opened without prejudice, but it appears consensus is against "Joshua Sawyer". Cúchullaint/c14:30, 23 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Against move. As far as I can tell, the sources on this article either don't mention Sawyer by name at all, or are split between using "J.E. Sawyer" and "Josh Sawyer". The best source uses both, but identifies the subject of the interview as J.E. Sawyer. I think the use of the diminutive form of the name is a colloquialism here, and WP:COMMONNAME should not apply.Vulcan's Forge (talk) 01:30, 18 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Support reversion to Josh Sawyer. Sources appear to mostly use "Josh Sawyer", and his Twitter / LinkedIn page do as well. (Although why DO we have a LinkedIn page external link, anyway...?) SnowFire (talk) 20:10, 20 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
I have removed the LinkedIn and Twitter accounts from this article per WP:EL however, those links did lend support to his preferred name.
