Anonymity in ...Outer Space

edit

I have two references that state the follow-up recordings, for Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space, were sung by the same three girls who did the first series. This article states that those second-series recordings were done by anonymous session musicians. Is there any way to track down the names of these second-series vocalists to support the claim in the article? I seem to remember reading an article about Cheryl Ladd stating that she was, indeed, only involved in the first series' sessions, but we could use some clarification. By anonymous, is it meant that the series didn't even credit them? Anybody with a copy of that on DVD? (C'mon, don't be shy! Tell us you checked it out from your local library!) Theme Song

edit

The list of recordings appears to be missing the theme song, which Holloway, at least, recorded. Was it never commercially released? If that's the case it should be listed among the "TV only" songs. 68.146.52.234 (talk) 22:26, 4 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Josie and the Pussycats (album)Josie and the Pussycats (band) – This article currently covers not only the self-titled album, but the band's entire history 162 etc. (talk) 00:08, 29 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Or maybe Josie and the Pussycats (1970s band). I think this would clearly imply a real-life band, and simultaneously remove any possible confusion with the musicians who recorded 2001's Music from the Motion Picture Josie and the Pussycats. 162 etc. (talk) 15:48, 30 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
