Addition
editGreetings. I included this addition to the article because I believe it lacks a distinct definition and is deficient in terms of historical background and etymology, among other aspects. Unfortunately, it was removed under the assumption that the content was already covered in "Journal Therapy," a viewpoint I strongly disagree with. Kmbonney819 (talk) 16:41, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
- Kmbonney819 I've refactored your comment as there is no need to copy the content that is in your sandbox. Your earlier edit that I reverted overwrote a disambiguation page with an article. Now perhaps this content might qualify as something called as a broad-concept article, but I think some discussion to replace the disambiguation page with that content would be needed. I think the new content goes astray in a few points.
- 1) Electronic message journaling and Journaling file system have little to no direct relation to what you describe, other than the using the term.
- 2) Much of the material is very similar to content in already existing articles, in particular diary, journal therapy, and writing therapy. I'm not sure there is any benefit to yet another overlapping article.
- In fact, I question whether this disambiguation page should perhaps instead be merged into journal. Many types of journals have corresponding gerund activities. For example, the current disambiguation page omits journaling in the context of accounting/bookkeeping. older ≠ wiser 17:44, 17 May 2023 (UTC)
