Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Journalism ethics and standards. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Lede section

edit

In the future, if you don't wish to have vandalism that completely removes numerous editors' contributions and an enormous section of an article persisting for over 70 days, please check the goddamn article history. 93 03:15, 25 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Basic Grammar

edit

This article is very ironically written and obviously not by a bona fide journalist. Its basic syntax is often jumbled, it makes poor use of punctuation, and is shabbily structured. Someone with better qualifications than mine should do a heavy edit. 73.116.98.214 (talk) 18:35, 27 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

@73.116.98.214 d'accord. 67.149.71.156 (talk) 02:49, 4 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm shocked that this has not been addressed. At one point the article references the "Acton Plan" (with no link), and at another point it references the "Action Plan" (also with no link). The plan, whatever it is actually called, seems important to the premise of the article.
There are also sentences that lack proper grammatical structure: "The Action Plan, proposed, the EU authorities, is meant to propose a guide for identifying misinformation."
I came to the article looking for information to back up an argument for seeking credible sources, and instead found content that is not credible. Mystreba (talk) 23:26, 27 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality dispute

@EmperorÖsmanIXXVMD: Why is this section's neutrality now being disputed? Jarble (talk) 18:35, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hedge fund journalism?

edit

Does this deserve mention on this page? https://www.ft.com/content/38bc7834-10fe-4510-956b-272daf99ad3b Sawitontwitter (talk) 01:14, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

WP:NOTNEWS would seem to apply for this specific instance, but the overall influence of finance on journalism ethics could certainly be discussed. Sdkbtalk 06:26, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Complete BS

Journalism ethics and standards?! Hahahaha! 🤣 🤣😂😂

Shouldn't this article be renamed "So-called journalism ethics and standards"? What a joke! 2401:7000:CADC:7000:B4AD:1548:8EE0:5038 (talk) 03:34, 22 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
