The result of the move request was: No move. No consensus on what to do with the similarly titled Chinese show, which at any rate has no independent article. If necessary disambiguation can be handled via a hat note. Cúchullain t/c 13:54, 15 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Journey to the West IIJourney to the West II (TVB series) – There is another Journey to the West II, a sequel to the China adaptation Journey to the West (1986 TV series). George Ho (talk) 20:07, 5 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

I don't see anything in that article to show that there was ever a sequel. The closest thing I can see was a mention of a second season to that show but that would not be a sequel. The question here would be is the proposer confusing the second season of the original show with a sequel, or is there a sequel that is so far not mentioned in the article in question? If it is the latter can they please provide some evidence that the sequel in question exists and that it was in fact called Journey to the West II--64.229.164.74 (talk) 21:55, 5 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
The "second season" of the China version was 13 years after 1986. Why calling it "second season"? --George Ho (talk) 02:00, 6 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
I have no idea but the article is treating as a second season of the original show and not a separate show called Journey to the West II. That leads to the obvious question, was this second season/sequel actually called Journey to the West II because if not I see no goid reason for the change?--174.93.160.193 (talk) 00:39, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
I wished it did due to similar cast and continuity. Unfortunately, it used the same Chinese name without "II", "2", or any other. --George Ho (talk) 23:10, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
