2000 Election Coverage
edit"Those tears were the first public indication that journalists may not be neutral in their coverage of the election and politics in general." This is a strange sweeping statement by Happy9z, and probably weasel words, too. Can someone add a source to clarify this claim or straighten this section out? I don't even know where to begin, but Happy's changes aren't all bad, and don't merit wholesale reversion. --John2429 (talk) 22:55, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Amanda Lear
edit"Judy Woodruff is frequently confused with the French musical deva Amanda Lear. Their resemblence[sic] is purely coincidental." This is uncited, and they look nothing alike in my estimation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DrVonMalfoy (talk • contribs) 02:41, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Bush-bashing; a "distraught" news professional
editNo citations are provided for the hostile references to George H. W. Bush. These are extremely damaging references (both the alleged drunken incident and the "distraught" reference); one defames Bush, the other seriously undercuts the independence of Woodruff as a trustworthy journalist. They should be supported or deleted.
- There is a reference for the drunken Bush reference. No URL though. Here's the URL if anybody else gets around to making a proper citation before I do: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/campaigns/wh2000/stories/bush072599.htm Quadpus 08:12, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
PBS Documentary
editI recently watched the PBS documentary She Says\Women in News. It gives a lot more information about her. If anyone has a chance to see it, please add to this article. --Kraftlos 07:49, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Does Woodruff have a Spirituality?
editMs. Woodruff comes across as a compassionate individual. Just wondered where she gets that from. Anybody know?
Botox, plastic surgery, and wigs in the lead in?
editThis is absurd to place here, even if it is true:
Judy Woodruff (born November 20, 1946) is an American television news anchor and journalist. Woodruff has had extensive plastic surgery including face lifts and botox injections. She is famous for her blonde wig that is always styled the exact same way. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Spdracr99 (talk • contribs) 14:38, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Video Podcasts - Not factual
edit"Streaming video podcasts of her monthly interviews are available at Bloomberg.com" - if it's only streaming it's not a video podcast. It's only a video podcast if it is a downloadable video file, delivered through RSS. I despise editing wikipedia pages, because people always RV edits or declare my edits not to be "encyclopedic" - so I'd appreciate if someone with some standing in this insular community fixed this glaring error. my username is trumad but I didn't bother to log in. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.203.136.195 (talk) 12:59, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
Better Picture
editPBS NewsHour woodruff.jpg is a much better picture of Woodruff.
Would it be fair use to use it instead of the screen capture now being used? It is from the PBS NewsHour website. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Javaweb (talk • contribs) 03:10, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
Since when is a screenshot not free to use unlimited or not? In any case a new "free" picture is needed. --Ftsw (talk) 14:39, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- I will work on getting a better picture. Geraldshields11 (talk) 14:56, 5 February 2013 (UTC)
CFR
editIsn't Judy Woodruff a member of the Council of Foreign Relations, and, if so, shouldn't that be part of the bio? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:647:300:FBE1:39DB:56B5:DBDD:FAAD (talk) 00:53, 13 September 2016 (UTC)

Betsy Woodruff is not related to her
editI've seen a number of claims that Daily Beast reporter Betsy Woodruff is related to Judy (most often, her daughter) but the younger Woodruff clearly says this isn't true of Twitter: https://twitter.com/woodruffbets/status/636184498653274113?lang=en —Moxfyre (ǝɹʎℲxoɯ | contrib) 03:17, 26 October 2017 (UTC)
