Design
editThe June Oven has a built-in scale, core-temperature thermometer and a camera to suggest cooking time and temperature[1] and to recognize commonly cooked foods.[2] It’s programmed to automatically cook 60 foods and the camera can recognize 23 foods.[3] The oven is controlled via a touchscreen and stainless steel knob on the front glass door and through a companion mobile app.[4]
June’s iOS app displays live video from inside of the oven,[5] sends push notifications when the food is done and includes “smart recipes” that illustrate cooking steps with videos and GIFs and communicate with the oven.[6]
