Incorrect artist/writer attribution
editOkay, I feel like I'm being gaslit by the universe here, to the point where I made a Wikipedia account just to attempt to set the record straight on this and get some confirmation that I'm not insane. Viz does attribute the art to Oto Toda, and the writing to Tatsuki Fujimoto, but anyone who's read those artists' work can see that the art is by Fujimoto (and presumably its written by Toda). While I could see Toda taking on a more Fujimoto-esque art style in order to draw a story written by Fujimoto, I don't think that's what happened here. The art is unmistakable.
So I'm guessing what happened is the letterer got the names switched, and then the Viz website, reviews, etcetera (and then this page) reprinted the error. But since Wikipedia relies on sourcing publicly available information, I can't change the text on the page, right? Because there's no source with the correct attribution? (That I can find, anyway; hence why I feel like I'm going mad.) Is there anything I can do about this? Thetainfelix (talk) 17:17, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- Do you have a source to back that up? Because both Japanese and English sources support that Fujimoto wrote the story and Toda the artwork. Link20XX (talk) 17:26, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
