Fair use rationale for Image:Justlikeyou.jpg
editImage:Justlikeyou.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Producers on track listing
editIt might be helpful to reference why the producers are listed as this generally isn't done for track listings. Seems like fine folks but we should explain why they are listed so prominently. Benjiboi 03:16, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
Merger proposal
editPer WP:MUSIC#SONGS "Most songs do not merit an article and should redirect to another relevant article.... A separate article is only appropriate when there is enough verifiable material to warrant a reasonably detailed article...." Heaven Sent (song) contains very little material. - Mdsummermsw (talk) 14:45, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Just like You (Keyshia Cole album) → Just Like You (Keyshia Cole album) – This page has been redirected to Just like You in which the word "like" isn't capitalized. On AllMusic, the album booklet, and everywhere else online, the album is listed as Just Like You. I would like for this to be fixed. Manuel Mexico (talk) 12:49, December 28, 2011 (UTC)
- Comment: According to the manual of style, short prepositions are uncapitalized in album titles. However, there seems to be greater opposition to uncapitalizing "like" than the equally short "with", which is uncontroversially uncapitalized. Perhaps it's because the word can function in two roles resulting in two different capitalizations: e.g. "I Just Like You" (where "like" is a verb) and "I Am Just like You" (where "like" is a preposition). Here the word functions as a preposition, so according to the MOS it should not be capitalized. Jafeluv (talk) 00:22, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

Policy discussion in progress
editThere is a policy discussion in progress at the Manual of Style which affects this page, suggesting that the capitalization of "like" should be removed. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. — LlywelynII 18:11, 14 February 2016 (UTC)
