Physical singles vs. Digital singles
edithey guys, question, why is this discog are the physical and digitial-only singles separated? in every other discography which i have seen, and thats quite a few! they are not separated. so why in this one? Mister sparky (talk) 22:01, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- Only a few artists release digital singles, since it is a new thing iTunes is doing with some artists for the "Complete My Album" deals. In some cases digital singles are also known as promo singles, but since they are released by iTunes only and can chart, we call them digital. Also Digital only are NOT actual singles as the are only released to US and Canada iTunes. The other singles are release internationally via not only iTunes but other digital download outlets, as physical CD singles, and airplay, etc.... Candyo32 (talk) 22:07, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- "complete my album" on itunes is available for every artist in every country. and yes thank you i know what promo singles are lol. any song released on itunes can chart, i'm meaning in the UK specifically here, every single track on my world, my world 2.0 and my worlds is available to download from itunes and is eligible to chart, and many of them have. so its not just US and Canada. Mister sparky (talk) 22:19, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- "Complete my Album" is not available for every artist for every country because not all artists release singles before the album's date to "complete the album." The only recent artists to do this have been Ludacris, Justin Bieber, and Usher (in this order). Be sure not to confuse a song specifically released for digital/promo than a regular single or album track. Also, I'm not talking about every song being able to chart via download those are listed under "Other charted songs." Digital singles are released a few weeks before an album or even a month to promote it, and they are just released like this in the U.S. and Canada as digital singles. This doesn't mean they can't chart in the UK or AUS or other countries as SONGS but they weren't released as singles. So all the songs can chart in other countries as charted songs, but not as digital singles/promo singles. Candyo32 (talk) 22:26, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- as i said, "complete my album" is available in most countries for every artist. i do it with UK itunes and have done for a long time. its now new and its not just for those 3 artists, but dozens and dozens. Mister sparky (talk) 22:33, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- Well "Complete My Album" must be different in the UK than in the US. Unless you are referring to complete my album via singles, not DIGITAL SINGLES, only in the US and Canada. Like I said they can chart in the UK and other territories but only as album tracks from downloads. This explains the huge chart position difference on them in the US and Canada and the UK. Candyo32 (talk) 22:36, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- then call the section "promotional singles" cuz thats what they are.

Never Say Never
editWould Never Say Never be considered a single, since it has a music video or no? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Z5-P9v3F8w Crazychrisr92 (talk) 22:16, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
- No because it will not be released to airplay or other forms. It is on hold right now, because the song may not even be a single. It has not been announced whether it will be available for digital download or not. Candyo32 (talk) 22:20, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
- Needs to be added to the Music Video section though. ..:CK:.. (talk2me) 22:38, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Comment - Just because it has a music video doesn't make it a single. Many artists release videos for album cuts. EnDaLeCoMpLeX (talk) 14:44, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

Question
editWhy is US second in the peak chart positions? Excluding the artist's home country, countries should be in alphabetical order. –Chase (talk) 23:58, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
- US, should last in the discography actually. He is Canadian, so that should be first. And going alphabetically US should be last then. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 00:18, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
- That's basically what I said. US shouldn't be second, it should be last. –Chase (talk) 18:12, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
Videos.
editOk he is also in the video for "Wavin' Flag" the Canadian song for Haiti. If the "We Are The World" video is included, so should this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nB7L1BIDELc under his list of videos. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.241.50.8 (talk) 22:56, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Justin Bieber discography
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Justin Bieber discography's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Excluded Albums
editWhy are "My Worlds Acoustic" and "Never Say Never: The Remixes" not included on this page under albums?
- There seems not to be any section for remix albums. Though they are considered as compilations in some discographies. And, is the My Worlds: The Collection listed in the template same as the "My World" collection, which leads to My World disambiguation page? 82.141.94.239 (talk) 03:03, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
