Request edit 24-MAR-2018
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
I am Justin Gary and this page has biased / inaccurate / outdated information I would greatly appreciate being corrected. The Kickstarters referenced in the section on Stone Blade Entertainment are not up to date. We delivered on the Ultimate Collector's Editions and are continuing to work on the released Ascension digital product. Kickstarter backers who were unable to receive their Collector's Edition received refunds. You can see evidence that people have received their product on the comments page here: [1]
In addition, SolForge remains operational with community support as can be seen from our website here: [2]
Thank you in advance for your help ! SBE JGary (talk) 19:30, 23 March 2018 (UTC)

- ^ This was worded as a claim statement mentioned by the subject on their Kickstarter page, as this claim was indeed made there.
- ^ This reference wasn't added, although the Kickstarter page was already listed in the references. Comments on a comment page are not a good guage of whether refunds have been received. You didn't mention if any text was to be removed, so the only information removed was the claim that the release of the UCE's was ongoing.
- ^ This claim could not be confirmed with the references provided, so a citation needed template was added inline.

Thank you for the updates, but the Stone Blade sections still are not accurate after the last edit. Since much of the information under Stone Blade Entertainment section on Kickstarters is subjective and non-verified, I would very much appreciate it be removed from my personal page.
Here is proposed alternate factual text to replace the entire Stone Blade Entertainment section, leaving information about the specific games to their appropriate Wikipedia pages:
Stone Blade Entertainment has run two successful kickstarter campaigns. The first, in 2012 was for the SolForge digital collectible game. [1]
The second, in 2013 was to fund bringing the Ascension deckbuilding game to Android and PC. Ascension was released on Android on August 14, 2014 [2] and PC via Steam Dec 16, 2014. [3]
Stone Blade has also released several other card games, including You Gotta Be Kitten Me in 2016 [4] and the deckbuilding game Shards of Infinity in 2018. [5]

We delivered on the Ultimate Collector's Editions and are continuing to work on the released Ascension digital product. Kickstarter backers who were unable to receive their Collector's Edition received refunds. You can see evidence that people have received their product on the comments page here: (Kickstarter page url given) | According to information released by Dave on Dave's Kickstarter platform, the Ultimate Collector's Editions were eventually delivered, with those who were unable to receive their Collector's Editions receiving refunds. Meanwhile, the Ascension digital product release continued. |
My mentioning of this information as "being posted on Kickstarter" came as a result of your offering Kickstarter as your reference. On that page, several individuals claim to have received their copies, along with messages posted by the Kickstarter account holder mentioning that the release has occurred. It was assumed that by saying you were "continuing to work on the released Ascension digital product" that the product was finished, and that the work mentioned as being done on the product was work performed on the product's release, and not necessarily on the product itself, and so that was how I worded it. I hope this was correct.
Just to confirm, you would like your earlier request from the 24th to be replaced by a newer, secondary set of edit requests. Is that correct? Please advise. Thank you! Spintendo 14:53, 28 March 2018 (UTC)

The Stone Blade Entertainment section as written is ambiguous, and contains many subjective statements with people's opinions about the kickstarters and quality/timeliness of deliverables. My first edit request was unclear and simply disputed some of the claims in the original piece. I now realize my error in the unclear request and my second request from March 28th above is a new edit (intended to replace the entire Stone Blade Entertainment section) that only mentions the facts about Stone Blade Entertainment, namely that the company run two successfully completed kickstarters and launched several products. This way the wikipedia page contains only facts and we don't have to get into details about controversial opinions. Thank you for your help, once again.
