editDoes the article really belong as a biography? It seems more to be about the publications and to a lesser extent the publishing enterprise. LeadSongDog come howl! 16:37, 23 March 2012 (UTC)

Bernhardt Wilhelm Perthes (1821–1857)
editHI, This is a discrepancy about the dates. Justus Perthes died in 1816, so how can his son be born in 1821? Also Bernhardt Wilhelm Perthes' son was born in in 1858. I suppose these dates are when he was in charge of his father's business, but it is very confusing, and should be fixed. Yann (talk) 10:11, 18 July 2023 (UTC)
- Actually there is a confusion between Wilhelm Perthes (1793-1853) and Bernhard Wilhelm Perthes, I (1821-1857). Yann (talk) 10:26, 18 July 2023 (UTC)
