Why no mention of the match fixing scandals?

Italian pronunciation given at start of article is incorrect

Hi everybody - new on Wikipedia, first time commenting.

I am half Italian, bilingual in Italian, visited the country every year when growing up, and lived there for a year as an adult.

I can 100% assure everybody that the International Phonetic Alphabet rendering of the Italian pronunciation at the start of the article is incorrect. No self-respecting Italian native speaker would pronounce it juˈvɛntus (“Jooventus”): it is pronounced yuˈvɛntus (“Yooventus”). Same thing for the abbreviated version: ‘yuve (“Yoové”) not ‘juvɛ (“Joové”). Surprised anybody would claim otherwise since that is also how it is pronounced by most non-Italian sports fans, at least in Europe.

Also, despite what English-language sports pundits often claim, the nickname “La vecchia signora” does not really translate accurately as “The old lady”. ‘Signora’ in this context is more a term of respect, and it would be more accurately capture the tone to translate it as “Grand Old Lady” or something. In the statistics part of the page, the first time when ronaldo is mentioned, there is a claim that states that ronaldo's 100M transfer to Juventus from Real Madrid was the "worst big money signing in Juventus history."
