The Königsallee which is mentioned in Gröne's song is a street in Bochum.

There are some streets called Königsallee (=Kings Avenue) in Germany. The most famous one is in Düsseldorf (fashion shows etc.), the second best known ist in Bochum (because of the song Bochum of Grönemeyer). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.132.1.254 (talk) 09:00, 4 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Oi! punk band de:Broilers' song Nur eine Straße is dedicated to Königsallee entirely - unlike Bochum (which just mentions it) --ZH2010 (talk) 23:37, 4 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Recent update on infobox

edit

I have just updated the infobox, though I believe this street doesn't need one altogether.

"Kö" is not an official name, so it shouldn't come up in the box. most of the intersecting streets previously listed are minor streets (but Schadowstraße missing!?), so I have reduced that to what it says in the box: "major junctions". Frankly, the previous image was a joke: awkwardly positioned in-between canal and parking spaces, a rotten tree prominently in the center of the photo,.. all in all not quite favorable. so I have put in that photo which was hidden in the top, and is also the main photo in other wikis.

Also added an image and sentence on Kö-Bogen. Please keep us informed on further updates. --109.45.2.231 (talk) 21:38, 22 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
