Copyvio?
editI have tagged this page as a potential copyvio of this website. If anyone else knows any different please feel free to revert me. regards, ascidian | talk-to-me 16:03, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
- That link's now broken, and there's nothing on the Wayback Machine, but the lack of sources suggest it could well be a copyright violation. Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 09:18, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
Not notable?
editThis page refers to a species grouping that doesn't really exist. It refers to three of the four related NZ species called 'large galaxiids' and there is no good reason to leave the fourth species (koaro) out of this group, except for a quirk of naming. Furthermore much of the article is general discussion relevant to NZ native freshwater fish as a whole, not to the three kokopu species in particular. This would be better turned into a page about the four large galaxiid species, or deleted and replaced with an overview of NZ's native freshwater fish. StellaMcQ (talk) 01:46, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
- I agree. I can't see much reason to keep this page; the content could go into Galaxias or a NZ native freshwater fish page. Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 09:18, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
- Sounds good, this page could turn into a redirect page for the three kokopu species and the place name. Relevant material already on this page could be cut and pasted into a relevant section of a Freshwater fish of New Zealand page.Rudolph89talk 12:17, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
