I propose that we resplit this article into Barbara County and Smith County, as the two are completely different from each other - different enough to warrant an article. ToThAc (talk) 02:16, 19 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Oppose. Before US 281 was created they were the same route. I think some digging can be done to find out why KSDOT felt the route would be better utilized as a U.S. Highway. Fill out the history section a bit and we'll have a decent article. –Fredddie 12:58, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
