editThere are some problems with this article, regarding information and sourcing.
Wikipedia:No original research says that articles must "cite reliable, published sources that are directly related to the topic of the article, and directly support the material being presented." So information on another similar bomb cannot be cited as information on the KAB-500S-E cannot be quoted as information on the KAB-1500S-E unless you have a source that says that the information is applicable to both of them.-- Toddy1 (talk) 07:49, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
http://www.ausairpower.net/APA-Rus-GBU.html#mozTocId393915 says "The KAB-1500S-E is reported to be a 1,500 kg satellite aided inertial guided bomb. It is likely to use the same PSN-2001 receiver and guidance package as the smaller KAB-500S-E." It has more information on the KAB-500S-E, but this article is on the KAB-1500S-E, so any information on the KAB-500S-E would need to be labelled correctly as being on the smaller bomb. What is true of one is not necessarily true of the other.-- Toddy1 (talk) 07:49, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
http://www.deagel.com/Defensive-Weapons/KAB-500S-E_a001838001.aspx Mentions users but not performance Is about the KAB-500S-E. The statistics are for the KAB-500S-E, not the KAB-1500S-E. The first combat use is for the KAB-500S-E. Regarding aircraft that use it - they are stated as intentions for the KAB-500S-E and the KAB-1500S-E. But that does not mean that the Russians have got the KAB-1500S-E working on those aircraft now. They intend to - this needs to be clearly stated as an intention not a reality. (The lots of Western defence projects fail to meet intentions - there is no reason to think Russian ones are any better.)-- Toddy1 (talk) 07:49, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/russia/kab-500se.htm Is another article on the KAB-500S-E. It does not mention the KAB-1500S-E.-- Toddy1 (talk) 07:49, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
Article name
editJudging from ru:КАБ-500, the KAB-500S-E is the designation for the export version of the KAB-500S used by the Russian Air Force. This suggests that we should move the article on the KAB-500S-E to KAB-500S and the article on the KAB-1500S-E to KAB-1500S.-- Toddy1 (talk) 12:26, 29 August 2018 (UTC)
