Digital TV
edit39 will also be its digital channel, since that frequency was never assigned a seperate channel for DTV. Channel 20 is the DTV station of KPAZ.
KDRX swap
editI seem to be having a problem. I used a portable TV, and KDRX is still 48. What happened to slow down this swap? -Tracker 16:32, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
You're not having a problem; what you're seeing is accurate. The license transfer applications for KDRX-CA (now KDTP-CA) and KPHZ-LP were filed on 12/22/2005, but weren't granted until 4/18/2006 and the deal wasn't consummated until 6/6. Meanwhile, there have been facilities issues with KTAZ (formerly KPHZ), and I'm pretty sure that the programming changeover won't occur until those are resolved. NBC/Telemundo expects their new facilities to be ready by the end of August 2006. Until then, Community Television Educators owns KDTP 11 Holbrook, which was still airing Telemundo as of 5/29, KDTP-CA 48 Phoenix (also airing Telemundo), and KPHZ-LP 58 Phoenix (airing Jewelry TV), and NBC/Telemundo owns KTAZ 39 Phoenix, which is still airing the Daystar Television Network. -dhett 22:19, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
Cleanup
editI am adding KDRX-CA and KTAZ to cleanup...they need work from somebody in the Phoenix area. -70.176.127.235 04:23, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
I will be doing major revisions on both pages and on KFPH-CA shortly to correct the history on all three and to move KDRX-CA to KDTP-CA to reflect its new call sign from 6/29. -dhett 16:23, 02 July 2006 (UTC)
