KFC / Kentucky Fried Chicken / No shortcuts
editThere are some rumors that Kentucky Fried Chicken went to "KFC" because "Fried" was developing negative connotations, and also because the State of Kentucky was hitting KFC for royalties for using its name; further that the name "Kentucky" originally spoke to "Southern Hospitality".
So, more recently, they went back from "KFC" to "Kentucky Fried Chicken". There's various references to this around the internet, but nothing in this Wikipedia article as far as I can tell.
I write this for the note of anyone who can be bothered to take an interest in the main article. JohnAugust (talk) 01:10, 5 February 2020 (UTC)
KFConsole
editI removed this material because the "product" was announced over four years ago, and nada. It seems to me coverage of something that doesn't exist and has never existed in the marketplace doesn't has the necessary weight for inclusion. Stefen Towers among the rest! - After some consultation, I have restored the material, reducing it and unsectioning it. A nonexistent product should not have its own section. Stefen Towers among the rest! Gab • Gruntwerk 22:00, 18 July 2024 (UTC)
