  • With so many flights arriving into KLIA in the early hours of the morning, it would be nice to be able to see what times the KLIA Express commences its service. I have scoured the internet and google and have been unable to establish if it will be running when i arrive at 5.45am. --(Stuart Rowley - Melbourne) 12.03, 02/01/07
First train as at 5.00 AM and if I am not mistaken, it is on 20 min interval. I can't check KLIA Ekspres website possibly due to Taiwan earthquake's cabling problem. I am sure you will be able to catch the train when you arrive in KLIA at that designated time. THank you --Zack2007 02:35, 2 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:KLIA ekspres logo.png

edit

Image:KLIA ekspres logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:38, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Profitability

edit

There is no way in hell KLIA Ekspres can be profitable after the first year. Average daily ridership in 2002 was under 5000 x RM 35 x 365 days = RM 64 million in tickets sold. The project cost RM2.4 billion to build, which at 5% would require RM 120 in yearly interest paymants alone.

Perhaps the article means to say it's operationally profitable (that is, before interest), but I'd like to see a source even for that. Jpatokal 05:04, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • I don't yet have a reference for the statement. My source was the Malaysian Wikipedia article on KLIA Ekspress. I'll try to get a more authoritative source for this information soon.--Pavithran (talk) 09:37, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

The Express Rail Link covers both KLIA Ekspres and the KLIA Transit service. I wouldn't be opposed to merging the three though... Jpatokal (talk) 01:09, 1 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
