No longer silent
editThe station filed the following statement with the FCC:
- KSTN RESUMED OPERATIONS WITH ITS LICENSED FACILITIES AT NOON ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 21, 2011, BROADCASTING MUSIC PROGRAMMING, STATION IDENTIFICATIONS AND STATION PROMOTIONS.
It had to resume programming by February, 2011, or its license would automatically expire under the terms of the Telecommunications Act of 1996. 121a0012 (talk) 07:42, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
Use of Past Tense
editThis is still a valid FCC license, albeit silent. The sourced story in fact suggests the station might come back later "as something else". Based on what they did in January 2011, they didn't abandon the license. Stating the station went silent "for the last time" is premature. Wikipedia is not a cystal ball.108.82.248.203 (talk) 07:01, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
