KTIE (formerly KFXM) is the first local radio station in the inland Empire region (Riverside-San Bernardino CA) in 1929 and remains on-air. Also there was the famous station KBON/KRXY 890 in the 1950s-80s which had a big band/standards genre, known for Hollywood celebrity connections, it was licensed to Lake Arrowhead, California or Big Bear Lake, California (then it became KRXY in Riverside) and was heard in the Palm Springs area, the winter seasonal home for many Hollywood celebrities. I believe KVCR 910 was a public radio station related to KVCR-DT PBS TV channel 24 based in San Bernardino or Riverside, and finally KFSG 950 from Redlands, also was heard in the Palm Springs area. 67.49.89.214 (talk) 14:33, 9 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
