Stream numbering
editThe PSIP numbering for the streams on WVT's Vancouver/Portland trunk (RF 49) were changed to x-01 earlier this year. (They apparently haven't updated the information on their Web site yet.) I have changed the article text to reflect this. Lest anybody should feel a compulsion to revert, you would be well advised to kindly focus your attention on this post for an explanation before you act:
"We dropped all virtual channels to .1; i.e. 17.1, 27.1, and 37.1. The reason we did the .2 was a potential problem with Sony TVs. At least in the overlap area between RF channel 49 and RF 27, these TVs would resort to the RF channel for channel 49. You would get 49.3, 49.4 and 49.5, since the Sony will NOT allow two of the same VC. We tested with KDOT and found it was not a problem. So to avoid confusion with TV guides and rating services, as well as viewers, we went back to our orginal plan and all channels are the same no matter where you see them."
