editHallo, the Lycians were not essentialy Greeks. According to the ottoman census of 1914 (see map under Demographics of the Ottoman Empire), the Greek population of the two vilayets of Antalya and Mentecha, which contained the eastern and western part of Lycia, amounted respectively to 4 % and 10 % of the Turkish population. Coastal Lycia was Greek, Lycia as a whole was largely Turkish.
