well shinichiro knew exactly where he was, and so did maya...it would be more awol than anything (MIA is usually used to denote unconfirmed death/potential POW), but u also have to consider that they didn't care where he was. they considered him worthless and thus allowed him to be inactive and such...i think if he just when straight up awol they would just kick him out as opposed to leaving him as an inactive member (awol usually results in courtmartial in the military). in way they kind of did grant him "leave", in that sense...its probably better described as neither. --Grimjaw 23:33, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

i saw the raw for 103, can't read jap tho. it seems he doesn't have a special power like souichiro and the others after all, or they still haven't revealed it. it may be something in the text tho, i'm just going by the images --Grimjaw 00:08, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

The way I read Chapter 102, page 73, Kagesada does not have the special power like Grimjaw states in the states above message. Because she says she wants to help the three people in his group and then says right after "As for you". Which I take as excluding him from being part of the previous three.
