Can Kaiba explode his enemies?
editI thought that Popo killed them from behind --89.61.230.31 (talk) 14:46, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
- No, that was Kaiba. Doceirias (talk) 18:31, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
- That seems to have been a property of the body he started the series in, though. At least, he hasn't done it since then, even when it would be very useful to do so. --Aquillion (talk) 10:35, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
Just a note, Kaiba is the plant that steals people's memory. Warp =/= Kaiba. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.200.213.207 (talk) 05:36, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- Kaiba is also the main character of the series; he begins it in Warp's body, but may not actually be Warp. This is the central mystery of the series. If you look at the cast roll, he is credited as Kaiba. Doceirias (talk) 07:19, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
- The main character is also named as 'Kaiba' in the overview at the beginning of most episodes ("Our protagonist, Kaiba...") However, it might be worth noting in the article that this name hasn't been used for him by anyone onscreen so far, and he doesn't know it at the beginning of the show. --Aquillion (talk) 02:47, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
Monsters
editSomeone should go over the monsters and beasts that appear in the show (for instance, skonks, and of course the legendary kaiba plant). --5ir 3ntropy (talk) 02:19, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
Memory erasure
editMaybe it's just me, but I'm not sure if I believe the recent edit that memory readers can erase the contents of a memory chip. I'll be watching the show through again, but right now I really don't know if this is the case or not, and I'm tending towards doubt. --5ir 3ntropy (talk) 08:05, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- Popo specifically states that this is the case in episode 8 (and seems surprised to discover that it can be done.) It is implied that Dada was doing it to maintain his/their magical-seeming tricks. --Aquillion (talk) 02:49, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
- My laptop is having issues, and I can't really watch video very well. I was unable to play ep8 straight through, so I might have missed that.
- What I'm mostly talking about is whether or not the green handheld device can be used to erase/modify memories. I know it can certainly be done with the larger devices that the memory merchant guy and the doctor used... --5ir 3ntropy (talk) 20:14, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
a name for the golden globe weapons
editIn ep 10, kaiba seems to call this weapon a 'firo buzz', he shouts this in his palace and the weapon flies into his hand. wasnt sure enough to put it on the page, so i thought i'd drop it in here to see what everyone has to say. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.8.121.97 (talk) 20:29, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
- Replying to a nine-year old comment here… :P Just for reference, these weapons are called "carbiles" (or at least that's how I'd romanize it). The official Japanese term for them is カーバイル (kābairu). I've added this information (along with a lot of other clarifications and detail) to the page. –Fpmfpm (talk) 10:35, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
External link
editThe article currently lists snip under external links, as an 'All-inclusive fansite'. This site in turns offers illegal MP3-files for download (snip). I haven't got a clue what Wikipedia's policy on linking to sites that offer illegal content is and I couldn't find it when looking through the FAQs, so I thought I'd just drop a note here instead and leave it for others to decide if the link can stay or should be removed. Copyright violations aside, the site in question does feature a good deal of information about the animation. 85.235.252.236 (talk) 14:20, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
- It's a blatant violation - good catch. I'm going to be removing the links from your post as well. Doceirias (talk) 16:39, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
