Material from Kaikōura was split to Kaikōura District on 30 September 2021. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted so long as the latter page exists. Can you please clarify your suggestion ? The settlement of Oaro is already listed in the article as one of the populated places in the district. What else do you have in mind ?. Perhaps you meant that Oaro should be added into the Kaikoura District template that appears at the bottom of the article ? I have gone ahead and done that, adding Omihi as well. Marshelec (talk) 08:30, 15 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yes that is what I had in mind.

Many thanks. Quite correct. I was misled by the existing incorrect inclusion of Omihi in the table in the body of this article.
