CSD nomination
editThis page is not unambiguously promotional. It briefly describes the organisation's purpose - which is to work with existing LGBT rights groups overseas in order to help their efforts - and lists a few prominent supporters. At worst, a simply advert tag would suffice. The article is well-sourced, especially given its length, and as is clear the level and nature of media coverage, it is notable enough to remain on Wikipedia. - • The Giant Puffin • 10:03, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
- The organization is less than one week old. An organization is NOT notable because it exists. Night of the Big Wind talk 10:06, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
- While the launch was recent, the organisation has been in existence for several months. An organisation is not notable for simply existing, but not every organisation gets this level of coverage and support from the outset. It is not its very existence that makes it notable, but the support and coverage it has received. - • The Giant Puffin • 10:17, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
- I leave it to the administrators to decide, but to me it looks like this article is written to promote the organization. Night of the Big Wind talk 11:26, 15 September 2011 (UTC)
- I disagree that the advert tag is necessary because of the phrase "the organisation aims to" - how else would its aims be described? –Roscelese (talk ⋅ contribs) 16:56, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
